Transliteration

vānarāṇāṃ hi dhīrāṇāṃ sahasraiḥ parivāritaḥ |

rāmo 'bhyeti purīṃ laṅkām asmākam uparodhakaḥ ||6.6.16||

Translation

ラーマは、幾千もの不動のヴァーナラに囲まれ、我らを包囲せんとランカーの都へ迫って来る。
