かく言われて、威光あふれる羅刹の王、勇猛なるラーヴァナは、アニラの子(ハヌマーン)の胸を掌で打った。
Having spoken that way by Hanuman, the Lord of Rakshasas slapped his hand on Hanuman's chest.
The episode frames power used without righteousness: physical domination is shown, but dharma is evaluated by motive and alignment with justice, not mere strength.
After an exchange of words, Rāvaṇa physically attacks Hanumān, striking him on the chest with his palm.
Hanumān’s resilience is being set up: the narrative introduces a test of endurance and composure in the face of provocation.
