そのとき、さまざまな武器を携え、恐るべき眼差しと凄まじい姿の羅刹の精鋭たちは、軍の将の促しを受けて一斉に突進した。
Akampana is a tamer of foes, protector of people, in that way capable, always desirous of welfare, lover of war.
The verse underscores disciplined mobilization in war; the epic’s ethical lens later judges warfare by restraint, right cause, and protection of the innocent.
Rākṣasa leaders, armed and terrifying, surge into the battlefield under command direction.
Military discipline and readiness (though serving an unrighteous cause in the epic’s larger frame).
