समापतन्तंदृष्टवासरथादाप्लुत्यवीर्यवान् ।।6.54.22।।गदापाणिरसम्भ्रान्तःपृथिव्यांसमतिष्ठत ।
samāpatantaṃ dṛṣṭvā sa rathād āplutya vīryavān |
gadā-pāṇir asambhrāntaḥ pṛthivyāṃ samatiṣṭhata ||6.54.22||
それが迫り来るのを見るや、勇士は戦車から跳び降り、棍棒を手に、少しも動揺せず大地に踏みとどまった。
