सीताविलापः—त्रिजटासान्त्वनं च
Sita’s Lament and Trijata’s Consolation
सात्वंभवसुविस्रब्धाअनुमानैस्सुखोदयैः ।अहतौपश्यकाकुत्स्थौस्नेहादेतद्ब्र्रवीमिते ।।।।
sā tvaṃ bhava suvisrabdhā anumānaiḥ sukhodayaiḥ | ahatau paśya kākutsthau snehād etad bravīmi te ||
ゆえに、この吉兆の推し量りによって、どうかすっかり安心なさい。見よ、二人のカクッツタは傷ひとつない。愛情ゆえに、私はあなたにこう告げるのです。
"This army is not doubting, not perturbed also, that they are killed. They are guarding the Kakutsthas lovingly. I am telling you."

The speaker urges Sītā to trust the visible and inferential signs that Rāma and Lakṣmaṇa are not slain.
