Transliteration

te tāmravaktrā hemābhā rāmārthe tyaktajīvitāḥ |

laṅkām evābhyavartanta sālatālaśilāyudhāḥ ||

Translation

銅色の顔の者、黄金のように輝く者――ラーマの御業のため命を投げ出したヴァーナラたちは、サーラ樹・ターラ樹と岩石を武器に、まっすぐランカーへと押し寄せた。
