海は天のように見え、天は海のように見えた。海と大空は区別なく、差異はまったく見えなかった。
The ocean resembled the sky and the sky like the ocean were identical as no difference appeared.
A dharmic mind learns humility before vastness: when distinctions blur (sky/sea), one recognizes the limits of ego and the need for guidance, counsel, and disciplined action.
The narration emphasizes the ocean’s immensity by describing how it visually merges with the sky.
Humility and contemplative awareness—seeing oneself as small before the magnitude of nature and the task ahead.
