難攻不落のラーヴァナは、次に何をすべきか熟考した後、大臣たちを退けて自らの宮殿に入った。
Having spoken immediately placed the head of Rama that was pleasing to see, by the side of Sita and went away.
The verse highlights deliberation before action (vicāra). In dharmic governance, decisions should be weighed for propriety; here it is narrated neutrally, even though Rāvaṇa’s later aim is adharmic.
After prior events, Rāvaṇa considers his next step, dismisses his counsellors, and goes into his residence—preparing for a private scheme.
Strategic deliberation is shown; however, the larger episode contrasts this with the misuse of intellect for deception rather than satya (truth).
