Transliteration

laṅkā punar nirālambā devadurgā bhayāvahā | nādeyam pārvatam vānyaṃ kṛtrimaṃ ca caturvidham ||

Translation

そしてランカーはまた、恐るべき要害であり、高く据えられて近づき難く、神々（デーヴァ）でさえ容易に迫れない。河の砦・山の砦・森の砦・人工の城塞という四重の防備に守られている。
