yasya vikramamāṇasya śakrasyeva parākramaḥ |

eṣa gandharva-kanyāyām utpannaḥ kṛṣṇa-vartmanaḥ ||6.27.20||

tadā devāsure yuddhe sāhyārthaṃ tridivaukasām

Translation

勇み進むとき、その武威はまさにシャクラに等しい。彼はガンダルヴァの乙女より、クリシュナヴァルトマンを縁として生まれ、古の देव（神々）とアスラの戦いにおいて天界の住人を助けるために現れた。
