सागरप्रशमनम् / The Pacification of the Ocean and the Building of Nala’s Bridge
समूलांश्चविमूलांश्चपादपान् हरिसत्तमाः ।इन्द्रकेतूनिवोद्यम्यप्रजह्रूर्वानरास्तरून् ।।।।
samūlāṃś ca vimūlāṃś ca pādapān harisattamāḥ |
indraketūn ivodyamya prajahruḥ vānarās tarūn ||
猿たちの中でも最もすぐれた者らは、根のある木も根のない木も、まるでインドラの旗竿のように掲げ上げ、その幹を力強く投げ放った。
Lifting some trees with roots and some without roots like the staff of Indra's flag, Vanaras hurled down the trees into the sea.
