सागरप्रशमनम् / The Pacification of the Ocean and the Building of Nala’s Bridge
एवमुक्त्वोदधिर्नष्टस्समुत्थायनलस्तदा ।अब्रवीद्वानरश्रेष्ठोवाक्यंरामंमहाबलः ।।।।
evam uktvā udadhiḥ naṣṭaḥ samutthāya nalas tadā | abravīd vānaraśreṣṭho vākyaṃ rāmaṃ mahābalaḥ ||
そう語り終えると、大海は姿を消した。するとヴァーナラの中の第一者ナラが立ち上がり、偉力のラーマに言葉を述べた。
Having spoken in that way, the Sea God disappeared. Nala, the foremost of vanaras, got up there after and spoke these words to mighty Rama.
Dharma is timely action after rightful assurance: once consent/support is secured, the capable servant steps forward to execute the duty without delay.
After granting support, the Ocean-deity departs; Nala rises to speak to Rāma, preparing to begin the bridge work.
Readiness to serve—Nala’s prompt initiative in undertaking a difficult public task.
