Transliteration

na kāmān na ca lobhād vā na bhayāt tāta pārthivātmajaḥ | grāha-nakākulaṃ jalaṃ stambhayeyaṃ kathaṃcana ||

Translation

王子よ、王の御子よ――欲によっても、貪りによっても、また恐れによってさえも、鰐などの生きものが群がるこの水を、わたしが固めて止めることは決してできぬ。
