Transliteration

atho vāca raghuśreṣṭhaḥ sāgaraṃ dāruṇaṃ vacaḥ |

adya tvāṃ śoṣayiṣyāmi sapātāḷaṃ mahārṇavaḥ ||6.22.1||

Translation

そのときラグ族の最勝者は大海に厳しい言葉を放った。「今日、汝を乾き尽くしてみせよう。パーターラの底に至るまで、広大なる海よ。」
