aprītena guṇair bhartrā tyaktāyā jana-saṁsadi |

yā kṣamā me gatir gantuṁ pravekṣyeha havyavāhanam ||

Translation

夫が私の美徳にさえ満足せず、人々の集まりの中で私を捨てるならば、私に残された道はただ一つ。今ここで、供物を運ぶ神聖な火に入りましょう。
