Transliteration

tataḥ krodhān mahābāhu raghuṇāṃ kīrtivardhanaḥ | sandhāya dhanuṣā rāmaḥ śaram āśīviṣopamam ||

rāvaṇasya śiro 'cchindac chrīmajjvalita-kuṇḍalam | tac chiraḥ patitaṃ bhūmau dṛṣṭaṃ tribhir lokais tadā ||

Translation

その時、ラグ家の栄光を高める剛腕のラーマは怒りに燃え、毒蛇のような矢を弓につがえ、輝く耳飾りで飾られたラーヴァナの首を切り落とした。
