Aditya Hridayam Upadeśa — Agastya’s Instruction to Rāma
ततोयुद्धपरिश्रान्तंसमरेचिन्तयास्थितम् ।रावणंचाग्रतोदृष्टवायुद्धायसमुपस्थितम् ।।6.107.1।।दैवतैश्चसमागम्यद्रष्टुमभ्यागतोरणम् ।उपागम्याब्रवीद्राममगस्त्योभगवान् ऋषिः ।।6.107.2।।
tato yuddhapariśrāntaṃ samare cintayā sthitam |
rāvaṇaṃ cāgrato dṛṣṭvā yuddhāya samupasthitam ||6.107.1||
daivataiś ca samāgamya draṣṭum abhyāgato raṇam |
upāgamyābravīd rāmam agastyo bhagavān ṛṣiḥ ||6.107.2||
そのとき、戦いに疲れ、戦場のただ中に立って思索に沈むラーマを見、また前方にいて戦いに臨むラーヴァナを見て、戦を見届けんと諸天とともに福徳の聖仙アガスティヤが来臨した。近づいて、彼はラーマに語りかけた。
Then seeing Sri Rama standing and thinking of the war, duly prepared, Rishi Agastya came with Devatas to witness the war with Ravana and spoke as follows.
Dharma includes receiving wise counsel at critical moments; even the righteous warrior pauses to reflect and accept guidance rather than acting from exhaustion or impulse.
On the battlefield, before the climactic confrontation, Agastya arrives with the gods to witness events and to instruct Rāma.
