邪心のラーヴァナにより兄弟が討たれ、急所を深く傷つけられて苦痛にもだえ伏すのを見て、ラーマは悲嘆に沈んだ。
"I wish to see the destruction of this evil minded one quickly before the sun completes the day and sets."
It contrasts dharma and adharma through action: Rāvaṇa is named “evil-minded” due to harm inflicted, while the righteous side responds with grief and moral urgency.
The narrator describes Lakṣmaṇa’s severe wounds inflicted by Rāvaṇa and sets the stage for Rāma’s intense reaction.
Rāma’s compassion and familial responsibility, which become the emotional engine for renewed resolve.
