Transliteration

kiṃ me yuddhena kiṃ prāṇair yuddhakāryaṃ na vidyate | yatrāyaṃ nihataḥ śete raṇamūrdhani lakṣmaṇaḥ ||

Translation

戦いが私に何の益をもたらそう、命に何の益があろう。ラクシュマナが戦陣の最前に打ち倒されて横たわるなら、戦うべき務めはもはやない。
