सीताया यशोधर्मविचारः
Sita’s Counsel on Honor, Rescue-Strategy, and Hanuman’s Reassurance
काममस्य त्वमेवैकः कार्यस्य परिसाधने।पर्याप्तः परवीरघ्न यशस्यस्ते बलोदयः।।।।
kāmam asya tvam evaikaḥ kāryasya parisādhane | paryāptaḥ paravīraghna yaśasyas te balodayaḥ ||
まことに、敵の勇士を討つ者よ、この務めを成し遂げられるのは汝ただ一人。汝の力より生まれる成就は、汝に名誉と名声をもたらそう。
'O Slayer of enemy heroes! you have the ability to accomplsh this task single-handed. By succeeding in accomplishing the objective you will become renowned (and not Rama).
Dharma recognizes capacity but restrains ego: even if one can achieve something alone, the righteous course must consider rightful ownership of duty and honor.
Sītā acknowledges Hanumān’s power and competence, noting that if he did it alone, the fame would naturally accrue to him.
Sītā’s fairness and clear-eyed understanding of how credit and glory attach to actions.
