चूडामणि
दर्शनम् — Rama Receives Sita’s Token and Questions Hanuman
यथैव धेनु स्स्रवति स्नेहाद्वत्सस्य वत्सला।तथा ममापि हृदयं मणिरत्नस्य दर्शनात्।।।।
yathaiva dhenuḥ sravati snehād vatsasya vatsalā |
tathā mamāpi hṛdayaṃ maṇi-ratnasya darśanāt ||
子を慕う雌牛が、子牛の姿を見て乳をほとばしらせるように、この宝珠の印を見れば、我が心もまた溶け崩れる。
"Take me to the place you saw my beloved. Knowing where she is I cannot stay here even for a moment.
Dharma is portrayed as sincere, truth-aligned love: Rāma’s inner response is natural and honest, reinforcing that righteous life does not deny authentic feeling but integrates it with duty.
Rāma explains to Sugrīva how powerfully Sītā’s token affects him, using a pastoral simile to express his emotional state.
Emotional truthfulness and deep fidelity—Rāma’s heart remains wholly oriented toward Sītā.
