विज्ञापनम् / Dadhimukha Reports the Madhuvana Incident
नैषामकृत्यानामीदृशस्स्यादुपक्रमः।।5.63.15।।आगतैश्च प्रमथितं यथा मधुवनं हि तैः।धर्षितं च वनं कृत्स्नमुपयुक्तं च वानरैः।।5.63.16।।
āgataiś ca pramathitaṃ yathā madhuvanaṃ hi taiḥ | dharṣitaṃ ca vanaṃ kṛtsnam upayuktaṃ ca vānaraiḥ ||
彼らは帰還すると、まことにマドゥヴァナへ押し入り、林全体を踏みにじって荒らし、ヴァーナラたちは思うままに享受した。されど、この状況においてはその大胆さも理解できる。
