Transliteration

vṛkṣasthāṃś ca talasthāṃś ca vānarān baladarpitān |

abhyakrāmaṃs tato vīrāḥ pālās tatra sahasraśaḥ ||5.62.24||

Translation

そのとき、幾千もの勇敢な守衛たちが、力を誇るヴァーナラを攻め立てた。木の上にいる者も、下の地にいる者も同様に。
