Hanuman Beholds Ravana in Court

नीलाञ्जनचयप्रख्यं हारेणोरसि राजता।पूर्णचन्द्राभवक्त्रेण सबलाकमिवाम्बुदम्।।5.49.7।।

nīlāñjanacayaprakhyaṃ hāreṇorasi rājatā |

pūrṇacandrābhavaktreṇa sabalākam ivāmbudam ||5.49.7||

群れた黒鉛のように黒く、それでいて胸には真珠の首飾りが輝き、顔は満月のごとく。月光に照らされた雲に白鶴が滑るように渡る、その姿に似ていた。
