Hanuman Beholds Ravana in Court
वज्रसंयोगसंयुक्तैर्महार्हमणिविग्रहैः।हैमैराभरणैश्चित्रैर्मनसेव प्रकल्पितैः।।5.49.3।।
vajrasaṃyogasaṃyuktair mahārhamaṇivigrahaiḥ |
haimair ābharaṇaiś citrair manaseva prakalpitaiḥ ||5.49.3||
彼は金剛石をはめ込み、貴重な宝玉の姿をかたどった、見事な黄金の装身具に飾られていた。その精妙さは、まるで心の想像が生み出したかのようであった。
(Hanuman looked at Ravana) of innate splendour, who shone with a glittering crown of gold glowing, encircled with strings of pearls.
Material refinement is not a measure of righteousness; Dharma is measured by restraint, truthfulness, and non-violence in action.
