Hanuman’s Offer of Rescue and Sita’s Dharmic Refusal
सायुधा बहवो व्योम्नि राक्षसास्त्वं निरायुधः।कथं शक्ष्यसि संयातुं मां चैव परिरक्षितुम्।।।।
sāyudhā bahavo vyomni rākṣasās tvaṃ nirāyudhaḥ | kathaṃ śakṣyasi saṃyātuṃ māṃ caiva parirakṣitum ||
空には武器を備えた羅刹が大勢立ちはだかり、あなたは無手。どうして戦いながら、同時に私を守りきれるでしょうか。
"The demons are in large number and they will be armed with weapons. You are unarmed. How can you fight and protect me?
