Sita’s Recognition and Reassurance by the Envoy
वानराधिपतिश्शीमान्सुग्रीवः कच्चिदेष्यति।मत्कृते हरिभिर्वीरैर्वृतो दन्तनखायुधैः।।।।
vānarādhipatiḥ śrīmān sugrīvaḥ kaccid eṣyati | mat-kṛte haribhir vīrair vṛto danta-nakhāyudhaiḥ ||
輝けるヴァーナラの王スグリーヴァが、我がためにここへ来てくださいますように――牙と爪を武器とする勇士の猿たちに囲まれて。
"I trust that the illustrious Sugriva surrounded by valiant vanaras who use their teeth and nails as weapons will reach this place.
Dharma is strengthened through righteous alliances and service: those who commit to a just cause must stand together with courage and loyalty.
Sītā asks whether Sugrīva and the Vānara forces will actively join the rescue mission, indicating hope in Rāma’s alliances.
Sugrīva’s loyalty and the Vānara warriors’ bravery—collective courage in service of dharma.
