Sita’s Recognition and Reassurance by the Envoy
वानरोऽहं महाभागे दूतो रामस्य धीमतः।रामनामाङ्कितं चेदं पश्य देव्यङ्गुलीयकम्।।।।
vānaro 'haṃ mahābhāge dūto rāmasya dhīmataḥ | rāmanāmāṅkitaṃ cedaṃ paśya devy aṅgulīyakam ||
高貴なる御方よ、私はヴァーナラ、賢きラーマの使者です。ご覧ください、王妃よ――この指輪にはラーマの御名が刻まれております。
"O noble lady! I am a vanara, an envoy of learned Rama. You see this ring with Rama's name inscribed on it, O god-like lady !
