jānantī bata diṣṭyā māṃ vaidehi paripṛcchasi | bhartuḥ kamalapattrākṣi saṃsthānaṃ lakṣmaṇasya ca ||

Translation

ああヴァイデーヒーよ、蓮の花弁のごとき眼をもつ方よ――あなたはすでに夫君とラクシュマナの姿としるしを知っておられるのに、なお私にその描写を求められるとは、まことに吉祥なる幸いです。
