Description of Rama and Lakshmana; Alliance Narrative to Sita
अर्चिष्मानर्चितोऽत्यर्थं ब्रह्मचर्यव्रते स्थितः।साधूनामुपकारज्ञः प्रचारज्ञश्च कर्मणाम्।।।।
arciṣmān arcito ’tyarthaṃ brahmacarya-vrate sthitaḥ | sādhūnām upakāra-jñaḥ pracāra-jñaś ca karmaṇām ||
彼は光り輝き、深く崇敬され、ブラフマチャリヤ(清浄と自制)の誓いに堅く立つ。善き人々の恩を知り、諸々の務めと儀礼の正しい行いにも通じている。
"He is luminous and highly revered. He observes vow of self-control. He is steadfast and recognises services rendered by sages. He is aware of the rites and the ways of administration.
Dharma is self-restraint and moral discipline, paired with gratitude and correct performance of duties—inner control supports outer righteousness.
Sītā enumerates Rāma’s moral and administrative excellence to affirm his worthiness and truthfulness of Hanumān’s message.
Rāma’s brahmacarya (self-control) and upakāra-jñatā (recognition of others’ help).
