Sita’s Lament and Prophecy of Lanka’s Ruin
उन्मत्तेव प्रमत्तेव भ्रान्तचित्तेव शोचती।उपावृत्ता किशोरीव विवेष्टन्ती महीतले।।।।
unmatteva pramatt eva bhrāntacitteva śocatī | upāvṛttā kiśorīva viveṣṭantī mahītale ||
狂えるがごとく、朦朧たるがごとく、心乱れたるがごとく嘆きつつ、その若き女は地に転がり、若い牝馬のようにもがき身をよじった。
Bewildered or distracted or intoxicated, this young lady wailed, wallowing round on the ground like a young female horse:
