रावणभवनपरिक्रमणं हनूमतः शोकविचारश्च
Hanuman’s Circuit of Ravana’s Palace and the Crisis of Deliberation
अथवा ह्रियमाणायाः पथि सिद्धनिषेविते।।।।मन्ये पतितमार्याया हृदयं प्रेक्ष्य सागरम्।
athavā hriyamāṇāyāḥ pathi siddha-niṣevite | manye patitam āryāyā hṛdayaṃ prekṣya sāgaram ||
あるいは、悉地者(シッダ)たちの行き交う道を連れ去られる途中、海を見て高貴なる御方の心が崩れ、倒れてしまわれたのだと私は思う。
"Or, perhaps while being borne away on the path frequented by siddhas, the beloved of Rama might have fallen down (dead), heart broken, on seeing the (vast) sea.
Dharma is the truthful facing of suffering: Hanumān acknowledges the depth of Sītā’s ordeal without romanticizing it, keeping his inquiry anchored in reality.
Hanumān imagines that Sītā, overwhelmed by the sight of the vast ocean during her abduction, might have succumbed and fallen.
