Commencement of the Ocean-Crossing
दुधुवे च स रोमाणि चकम्पे चाचलोपमः।ननाद सुमहानादं सुमहानिव तोयदः।।।।
dudhuve ca sa romāṇi cakampe cācalopamaḥ | nanāda sumahānādaṃ sumahān iva toyadaḥ ||
山のごとく身の毛を震わせて大地を揺るがし、ついで大いなる咆哮を放った――それは巨大な雷雲の轟きのようであった。
Hanuman, huge as a mountain moved his body and shook the hair on his body, thundering like a cloud.
Dharma includes fearlessness in righteous work: the roar signals moral courage—strength awakened in the service of truth, not aggression for its own sake.
Hanumān physically readies himself for the leap, shaking out his body and proclaiming readiness through a thunderous roar.
Śaurya (valor): his controlled display of power expresses confidence anchored in mission.
