स वानरशतैस्तीक्ष्णैर्बहुभि श्शस्त्रपाणिभिः।।4.38.14।।परिकीर्णो ययौ तत्र यत्र रामो व्यवस्थितः।
sa vānaraśatais tīkṣṇair bahubhiḥ śastrapāṇibhiḥ | parikīrṇo yayau tatra yatra rāmo vyavasthitaḥ ||
多くの鋭い武器を手にした精悍な猿たち数百に取り囲まれ、スグリーヴァはラーマの留まる場所へと赴いた。
Surrounded by hundreds of monkeys wielding various sharp weapons, Sugriva went forth to the region where Rama resided৷৷
Dharma here is expressed as disciplined readiness and rightful protection: Sugrīva approaches his ally Rāma with an organized, armed retinue, signaling responsibility and preparedness rather than disorder.
Sugrīva proceeds—surrounded by armed vānara forces—to the location where Rāma is residing, marking a formal, public approach of the new ally.
Sugrīva’s leadership and resolve—he moves with a prepared force, indicating seriousness and capacity to act.
