Transliteration

amī hi vividhaiḥ puṣpais taravo ruciracchadāḥ |

kānane ’smin vinā kāntāṃ cintām utpādayanti me ||

Translation

この森の木々は、麗しい葉とさまざまな花に飾られているが、愛しき人なき今は、ただ我が胸に憂いを生じさせる。
