paśya śītajalāṃ cemāṃ saumitre puṣkarāyutām | cakravākānucaritāṃ kāraṇḍavaniṣevitām ||

Translation

サウミトリよ、見よ、この冷ややかな水をたたえ、蓮に満ちた湖を。そこにはチャクラヴァーカが遊び、カーランダヴァの鴨が群れ集う。
