Eminent officiating priests speedily brought the offerings of worship and paid obeisance to Viswamitra with prayers.
Transparent purpose and truthful narration: dharma is upheld by clearly stating one’s actions, journey, and intent—especially when approaching a king and a sacred rite.
Viśvāmitra summarizes the preceding events for Janaka, including why they came to Mithilā—to inquire into the famed great bow.
Viśvāmitra’s integrity and clarity of mission: he reports facts without embellishment and concludes respectfully.
