सगरस्य पुत्रलाभः
Sagara’s Boons, Progeny, and the Rise of the Sixty Thousand
भाषमाणं महात्मानं राजपुत्र्यौ प्रसाद्य तम्।ऊचतु: परमप्रीते कृताञ्जलिपुटे तदा।।।।
bhāṣamāṇaṃ mahātmānaṃ rājaputryau prasādya tam | ūcatuḥ paramaprīte kṛtāñjalipuṭe tadā ||
その大いなる魂の牟尼が語ると、二人の王女は敬って彼を喜ばせ、やがて大いに歓喜し、合掌して願いの姿で彼に申し上げた。
Thereafter, both the daughters of the king were exceedingly delighted. Having propitiated that magnanimous asectic both of them with folded hands in supplication, said:
Dharma includes respectful approach to spiritual authority: humility, proper conduct, and reverent speech toward sages.
After hearing Bhṛgu’s boon, Sagara’s two queens respond with joy and folded hands, preparing to speak further.
Vinaya (humility) and śraddhā (reverent trust) expressed through añjali and respectful address.
