कबन्धमोक्षः—सुग्रीवमैत्र्युपदेशः
Kabandha’s Release and Counsel to Befriend Sugriva
स हि स्थानानि सर्वाणि कार्त्स्न्येन कपिकुञ्जरः।।।।नरमांसाशिनां लोके नैपुण्यादधिगच्छति।
sa hi sthānāni sarvāṇi kārtsnyena kapikuñjaraḥ | naramāṃsāśināṃ loke naipuṇyād adhigacchati ||
その猿の中の雄は、巧みさと機転によって、人肉を食らう者どもの世界にあるあらゆる潜み処を余すところなく知っている。
He is the foremost of the monkeys. He knows well by his wisdom all thedwelling-places of the carnivorous demons in the world.
Right means for a righteous end: Dharma supports using competent guidance and local knowledge to counter violence and protect the innocent.
Sugrīva is presented as strategically valuable because he knows the dangerous regions and enemies that may be involved in Sītā’s abduction.
Practical wisdom (naipuṇya): skillful knowledge applied for protection and just action.
