Jatayu’s Combat with Ravana
बद्धस्त्वं कालपाशेन क्व गतस्तस्य मोक्ष्यसे।।।।वधाय बडिशं गृह्य सामिषं जलजो यथा।
baddhas tvaṃ kāla-pāśena kva gatas tasya mokṣyase | vadhāya baḍiśaṃ gṛhya sāmiṣaṃ jalajo yathā ||
お前はすでに死の縄に縛られている。どこへ行って解き放たれようか。餌の付いた釣り針をくわえて殺される魚のように、お前は自ら滅びを招くものを取ったのだ。
