ラーマ(Rāma)は大いなる光輝を備え、気魄も大きく、力も無量である。願わくは、羅刹の世界にとって、まるで死そのもののような滅びとならぬように。
Rama is brilliant, powerful and strong. I hope he will not be the god of death for the world of demons.
Dharma protects the world by restraining adharma; when evil persists, righteous power becomes punitive. The verse urges turning away from wrongdoing to avoid collective ruin.
Marīca underscores Rāma’s formidable nature and warns that continued provocation could bring annihilation upon the rākṣasas.
Sobriety and realism: acknowledging moral causality and the cost of provoking a righteous protector.
