खरश्च निहतस्सङ्ख्ये दूषणश्च निपातितः।हतश्च त्रिशिराश्चापि निर्भया दण्डकाः कृताः।।।।

Transliteration

kharaś ca nihataḥ saṅkhye dūṣaṇaś ca nipātitaḥ | hataś ca triśirāś cāpi nirbhayā daṇḍakāḥ kṛtāḥ ||

Translation

戦場にてカラは討たれ、ドゥーシャナは打ち倒され、トリシラスもまた斃れた――かくしてダンダカの森の民は恐れを離れた。
