Winter Description and Reflection on Bharata’s Devotion
प्रकृत्या शीतलस्पर्शो हिमविद्धश्च साम्प्रतम्।प्रवाति पश्चिमो वायुः काले द्विगुणशीतलः।।।।
prakṛtyā śītalasparśo himaviddhaś ca sāmpratam | pravāti paścimo vāyuḥ kāle dviguṇaśītalaḥ ||
西風はもとより肌に冷たいが、今は霜の寒さに打たれ、この季節には冷えが倍して吹きわたる。
The snow-cold forest terrains are fertile with barley and wheat crops. As the Sun rises the swans and kraunchas produce pleasing notes.
