kasmātsmṛtāstvayā vipra tatorthakāraṇaṃ vada | sukarmovāca | ayameṣa susaṃprāpto vidyādharo hi pippalaḥ
Sukarmā (responding in dialogue; the initial question is posed by an unnamed interlocutor addressing a vipra)
Concept: A well-placed question (kasmāt… vada) invites clarity; naming the true agent (‘this is Pippala’) anchors discourse in facts rather than speculation.
Application: Ask for reasons before judging; identify the real subject of discussion directly and calmly.

Sandhi Resolution Notes:
Sukarmā speaks the latter half (“Sukarmā said…”), while the first line is a question addressed to a brāhmaṇa (vipra) by an unnamed interlocutor in the dialogue.
Pippala is identified as a Vidyādhara—typically a celestial being associated with supernatural knowledge and powers—who has arrived at the scene.
It marks a dialogue turn: one character asks why someone was brought up/remembered, and Sukarmā answers by announcing Pippala’s timely arrival.
