Suta
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: shanta
Secondary Rasa: bhakti
It declares Gaṅgā as a universally accessible tīrtha whose purifying power does not depend on one’s ability, status, or wealth—she grants cleansing of sin and supports auspicious prosperity for all who approach her.
By emphasizing divine mercy through a sacred manifestation (Gaṅgā) open to everyone, it supports bhakti’s principle that sincere refuge and service (niṣevā) matter more than social or material qualifications.
It points to kalpa-style practical dharma: tīrtha-sevā and snāna as prescribed purificatory observances, showing how ritual action (anushthāna) functions as a means to obtain purity and well-being.
