न तत्रोदयिनी ग्राह्या दैवस्योदयिकी तिथिः । प्रत्यहं शोधयेत्प्राज्ञस्तिथिं दैवज्ञचिंतकात् ॥ १६ ॥

Transliteration

na tatrodayinī grāhyā daivasyodayikī tithiḥ | pratyahaṃ śodhayetprājñastithiṃ daivajñaciṃtakāt || 16 ||

Translation

この件では、日の出に基づく「ウダイニー」の取り方を採用してはならない。むしろ聖なる誓戒と儀礼においては、日の出を基準として定められたティティを取るべきである。ゆえに賢者は、毎日、暦算に通じた占星家によりティティを確かめよ。
