Śokanivāraṇa: Non-brooding, Impermanence, Contentment, and Śuka’s Renunciation
आगमेन महान्येषां विनाश उपपद्यते । एतस्माद्योनिसंबंधाद्यो जीवन्परिमुच्यते ॥ ५४ ॥
āgamena mahānyeṣāṃ vināśa upapadyate | etasmādyonisaṃbaṃdhādyo jīvanparimucyate || 54 ||
権威あるアーガマ(Āgama)によって、偉大なる者には束縛の完全な滅尽が可能となる。さらに、生きながらにしてこの生門との結びつき(yoni-saṃbandha)から全く解き放たれる者は、解脱する。
Sanatkumara (teaching Narada in the Moksha-Dharma dialogue)
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: shanta
Secondary Rasa: adbhuta
It asserts that scriptural authority (Āgama) can lead to the destruction of bondage, culminating in jīvanmukti—release from the causal link to rebirth even before the body falls.
By emphasizing Āgama as valid guidance, it supports scripture-led devotion and disciplined practice; such aligned bhakti (and its allied sādhanas) can cut the sense of identity tied to birth and embodiment.
No specific Vedāṅga is taught in this verse; the practical takeaway is epistemic—reliance on śāstra/Āgama as pramāṇa (authoritative means) for correct practice leading toward moksha.
