कृत्वा सेकान्वदैत्संख्यामिति प्राहुः पुराविदः । वर्णान्सेकान्वृत्तभवानुत्तराधरतः स्थितान् ॥ १७ ॥
kṛtvā sekānvadaitsaṃkhyāmiti prāhuḥ purāvidaḥ | varṇānsekānvṛttabhavānuttarādharataḥ sthitān || 17 ||
古の通暁せる聖賢は言う。「『セーカ』を配し終えたなら、その数を宣言すべし」。この『セーカ』—すなわち文字の類—は、上位より下位へと、正しい順序に据えられている。
