Sanatkumara (teaching Narada in the Moksha-Dharma context)
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: shanta
Secondary Rasa: karuna
It presents a chain of changing worldly outcomes—gain, loss, happiness, bondage, effort—implying that samsaric experiences arise in sequence as karma-phala; the seeker should observe them with detachment while pursuing Moksha-Dharma.
By showing that pleasure and bondage alternate unpredictably, it encourages reliance on steady devotion rather than on fluctuating results; Bhakti stabilizes the mind amid gain, loss, and strain.
The verse aligns with Jyotiṣa-style phala-nirdeśa (enumeration of outcomes), presenting results in a defined order (kramāt), useful for interpreting life-events and timing-related indications in a dharmic framework.
