कार्तिको मार्गशीर्षश्च नृणां दुष्टफलप्रदः । शुभप्रदौ पौषमाघौ मध्यमौ फाल्गुनो मधुः ॥ ५४ ॥

Transliteration

kārtiko mārgaśīrṣaśca nṛṇāṃ duṣṭaphalapradaḥ | śubhapradau pauṣamāghau madhyamau phālguno madhuḥ || 54 ||

Translation

人々にとって、カールティカ月とマールガシールシャ月は悪しき果をもたらすと言われる。パウシャ月とマーガ月は吉祥で善果を授け、パールグナ月とマドゥ（月名、チャイトラ）は中ほどの作用である。
